Workflow
The same sequence is used for books, academic work, press, events and recognition. A result can stop at any stage if the evidence is insufficient.
Start with the preserved site record, a bibliographic lead or a specific claim that can be tested.
Match names, dates, affiliation, co-authors, edition data and the nature of the source before joining records.
Prefer a primary or institutional record; for biographical claims, seek an independent second source whenever the evidence allows.
Record the source tier, availability, rights status and any uncertainty instead of upgrading incomplete evidence.
Separate archival wording from the current editorial explanation and link readers to the supporting record.
Keep corrections visible and re-check time-sensitive links, rights and availability when the dataset is updated.
Keep the layers visible

Translations preserve meaning and structure while making Ukrainian material accessible. Titles may retain the original wording; the Ukrainian page remains the language-of-record version.
New summaries, statuses and cross-links are editorial work. They identify uncertainty, evidence tier and the date-sensitive state of external material.

Corrections policy
A correction request should identify the page, exact statement, proposed change and supporting source. Documentary evidence takes priority over recollection, but first-hand testimony can be recorded as attributed evidence.
Material errors are corrected in the current text and, where they affect interpretation, entered in the visible corrections register. Minor spelling or layout changes may be made without a separate public note. Disputed claims remain labelled until evidence resolves them.
Automated tools may help find duplicates, broken links or format metadata. They do not establish authorship, legal rights, family relationships or biographical facts without human review and supporting sources.
Submit a correction
Include a stable link or clear scan attribution, explain how you know the record is connected to Eva Gata or Olha Kossak, and state whether the material can be shown publicly.
